Hospitality lives or dies on being noticed and being easy to understand. Most of what follows is about two things: pulling people in off the footpath, and telling them what they need to know once they're inside.
Getting noticed from the street
- Blackboard A-frames — the workhorse of hospitality. Change the special daily without reprinting anything.
- Insertable A-frames when you want a printed panel rather than chalk — swap the insert for a new campaign.
- Mini street A-frames for narrow footpaths and corner placement where a full-size frame is in the way.
One practical note: check what your council allows on the footpath before buying. Permitted size and placement vary between local governments, and an A-frame that breaches the rules gets moved on.
Windows and shopfront
- One-way vision film — full-colour graphics from the street while your diners still see out.
- Long-term window vinyl for opening hours, logos and frosted privacy bands.
- Short-term window vinyl for seasonal promotions and limited-run campaigns.
Menus and interior
- Posters for menu boards, specials and drinks lists.
- Canvas prints and wall murals — the fit-out detail that makes a room photographable, which is free marketing every time someone posts.
- Pull-up banners for functions, catering and events.
Compliance and back of house
- Mandatory signs — handwashing, protective clothing, staff-only areas.
- Emergency and exit signage plus fire equipment signs.
- Wet floor stands — the cheapest liability insurance in hospitality.
- Notice signs for allergen advice, card-only payment and house rules.
Takeaway, delivery and merch
- Kiss cut stickers and labels for packaging, takeaway bags and jars — branding that leaves the building with the order.
- Branded drinkware and staff apparel, including aprons and tees.
- Business cards and fridge magnets — magnets in particular earn their keep for anywhere taking phone orders.
Food trucks and markets
Everything has to travel and set up fast.
- Vehicle signage — wraps and cut decals turn the truck itself into the sign.
- PVC banners for the front of a stall, and X-frame stands that pack flat.
