Print & Signage for Entertainment Venues

Show posters, foyer wayfinding, bar and merch signage, plus the licensing and safety signs your venue can't open without.

Theatres, live music rooms, cinemas and function centres all run on the same rhythm: a show goes on sale, the room fills, the crowd moves through in twenty minutes, and then you reset for the next one. Print and signage have to do three jobs in that cycle — sell the show, move people safely, and change over fast without a tradesperson.

Selling the show

Your frontage is the cheapest advertising you own. Passers-by should know what's on this week and what's on sale next. One-way vision window graphics turn glass into a poster wall while keeping the foyer light from inside, and short-term outside window vinyl is made to be peeled off after a season without leaving residue.

For the footpath, a corflute insertable A-frame is the workhorse — you keep one frame and print a new insert per show, which is a fraction of the cost of a new sign each time. An outdoor blackboard A-frame suits venues that change the message nightly.

Tip: print inserts for the whole season at once. The setup cost is the same whether you order one or twelve, so a season run costs far less per sign than ordering week by week.

Front of house and the foyer

People arriving at a venue for the first time are looking for four things: the box office, the bar, the toilets and their door number. Make those unmissable and your staff stop answering the same question all night. ACM panels take a knock and still look sharp under foyer lighting, and foam PVC is light enough for internal walls where you don't want heavy fixings.

Door and row identification is worth doing properly — individually cut vinyl stickers apply cleanly to painted doors and railings, and come off without damaging the paint when you renumber.

Bars, merch and queue management

Bar menus and merch pricing change constantly, so print them on something you can swap. Foam PVC panels behind the bar read well from the back of a queue, and kiss-cut vinyl stickers are the fastest way to price merch and mark ID-check points.

For pop-up bars and merch desks, pull-up banner stands set up in seconds and store flat, and an X-frame stand is the lightest option when you're carrying gear up stairs.

Safety, licensing and the parts that aren't optional

Occupancy limits, emergency exits, RSA and no-glass-beyond-this-point notices are licensing conditions, not decoration. Get them printed once, properly, on ACM or Signwhite colorbond so they survive years of being brushed past. A wet floor stand belongs behind every bar — spills are the single most common incident in a licensed venue.

Outdoor events and festival stages

If you run anything outdoors, mesh banners are the ones that survive — the perforation lets wind through instead of turning your fence line into a sail. For covered areas and stage backdrops, PVC banners give a solid block of colour at a lower cost.

Off-site promotion and print

Street posters, flyer drops and the staff car park all still work. Corflute signs are the standard for temporary poster sites, vehicle magnets put your venue on the road without committing to a wrap, and business cards still close the function-room bookings that pay the bills between shows.

Print a season of A-frame inserts at once. The setup is charged once whether you order one or twelve, so the twelfth show costs a fraction of the first.
