Not-for-profits usually need print and signage to do a lot on a small budget — fundraising events, op shops, awareness campaigns and volunteer teams, often all in the same month. Most of what follows is chosen for reuse.
Fundraising events
Buy the hardware once and reprint only the graphic. A pull-up banner or A-frame reused across four events a year costs a fraction of printing four one-off signs.
- Pull-up banners for stalls, registration desks and awareness displays.
- X-frame stands — light, cheap and pack flat, which matters when volunteers are carrying them.
- PVC banners for event frontage, and mesh banners for fencing at outdoor events.
- Insertable A-frames — reskin the panel per event.
- Corflute signs for directions, parking and donation points.
Op shops and retail
- Window vinyl for hours, donation guidelines and branding.
- Posters for pricing, campaigns and appeals.
- Rigid signs for department, donation drop-off and staff areas.
- Notice signs for what you can and can't accept — the sign that saves volunteers sorting through things you can't sell.
Premises and volunteers
- Aluminium composite panel signs for building identification.
- Emergency, evacuation and first aid signage plus fire equipment signs.
- Wet floor stands for cleaning and kitchens.
- Branded apparel for volunteers — a shirt that identifies who's official matters at a busy event, and volunteers keep them.
Awareness and supporter print
- Stickers — one of the cheapest awareness items there is, and supporters apply them for you.
- Fridge magnets for helplines and support numbers — genuinely useful, so they stay on the fridge for years.
- Business cards and printed promotional items for supporters and corporate partners.
- Branded bags — carried in public repeatedly, which is a lot of impressions per dollar.
- Drinkware for volunteer thank-yous and merchandise.
Vehicles
- Vehicle magnets — ideal for charities: volunteers use their own cars, and magnets come off at the end of the shift.
- Vehicle signage for owned vans and community transport.
