For most trades the vehicle is the business's most valuable advertising space — it's parked in a different street every day, in front of exactly the people who might need you. Everything else on this page is secondary to getting that right.
The vehicle
- Vehicle signage — cut decals with your trade, name and number are the standard fit-out, and far cheaper than a full wrap.
- Vehicle magnets — the right call if the ute is also the family car, the vehicle is leased, or you use casual subbies. On and off in seconds.
- Vehicle wrap vinyl for full and partial wraps on vans and trucks.
Keep it to three things readable at 60km/h: what you do, your name, and the number. A crowded ute is a wasted ute — nobody reads a service list from a moving car.
On site
- Corflute signs for site boards and job identification — cheap enough to leave behind and replace.
- Mesh banners for site fencing, and PVC banners for hoarding.
- Construction and site signs for site entry and authorised personnel.
- Danger and warning signs for the specific hazards you create — excavation, live electrical, overhead work.
- Lockout / tagout tags — essential for electrical and plumbing isolation, and the cheapest safety item you'll buy.
Tools, plant and assets
- Cut vinyl stickers for tool boxes, ladders and plant — identification that also deters walk-off.
- Kiss cut stickers for test-and-tag, service labels and asset numbering.
Winning the next job
- Fridge magnets — for plumbers and electricians especially, this is the single best-performing item. Emergencies get the number already stuck on the fridge.
- Business cards to leave after every quote.
- Branded workwear — shirts and hi-vis that make you look like a business rather than a bloke with a van.
- Pull-up banners for home shows and trade expos.
Fleet and multi-vehicle orders
Doing several vehicles at once is meaningfully cheaper per vehicle than one at a time — the setup is the same whether it's one ute or six. Same for magnets and stickers.
